How can I buy A Healthy Obsession product?
If you join the mailing list you will receive a preview of any new designs and when they will become available. Sales will be on a “first come, first served” basis with NO exceptions. An order form will be added to the site in due course along with payment methods. If or when any designs sell out the image will be tagged as such and no further orders can be placed for that item.
Are any of the Trainers or Clothes featured for sale?
Absolutely not – and they never will be, look upon the site as a book of photographs. Every item is for viewing, not buying.
Will you make tee shirts on request?
I am in the process of setting up a sister label of AHO called TeeSpoke. As it sounds, this will be a bespoke service where one-off tees are produced to a customer’s specifications. This will range from providing a full graphic-design service to image sourcing or simply producing a tee from an image provided by the client. Any image or design used will remain the property of the client at all times and only they can request any future products featuring the image. More details will follow on the consultation and order process along with the purchase price.
How often will the site be updated?
Ultimately I will have all the Clothes and Trainers in galleries, categorised by label. While the format of the site will change to best accommodate the large amount of images and ease navigation within the site, nothing will be deleted. The aim is to have what will effectively be a reflection of 25 years worth of clothes and trainers – the good, the bad and the ugly! This will be an ongoing project for a long time to come. Dip into it as often as you like – chances are you’ll find something new each time you visit. Rest assured though I WILL NOT be bombarding the mailing list with news of image updates. The only mails you will receive will be to inform you of any new AHO product.
What if I want details on any items featured on the site?
For my own sanity I don’t intend to answer individual queries about any images on the site. In the Clothes section, by clicking on the label you will see thumbnails of the items pictured, from which a full-sized image can be viewed. In the Trainers section the name of the shoes will be shown.
What about suggestions for AHO releases?
I’ve no doubt many of you will have great ideas for what would make a good tee shirt. If that’s the case then consider the TeeSpoke option and you can make your idea become a reality. However, just as I wouldn’t consider telling Giorgio Armani what he should put in his Spring/Summer collection, AHO designs are not open to suggestion or debate. I hope that doesn’t sound conceited, it’s just that I want AHO to reflect MY idea of what is good enough to produce and I’m happy to sink or swim on that basis. That’s not to say I won’t be asking your thoughts on possible projects – far from it. I fully intend to gauge opinion from as many sources as possible before making a design available.
Will you only be selling tee shirts?
No – I’ve sourced the best available sweatshirts on the market and certain releases will be produced on these as well as the tees.
